Sessions are 1 hour duration although longer sessions can be negotiated.
Most of my clients come for weekly or fortnightly sessions. We can discuss this further at your first appointment.
Unfortunately there is no wheelchair access at my current premises.
I am able to do Telehealth or Zoom sessions. Please get in touch if this is something you would like to do.
The current fee recommended by the Australian Psychological Society is $267 per 60 minute session.
My fee is a sliding scale from $190 (employed) down to $150 (concession) per session.
I am happy to discuss the fee arrangement with you.
If you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, this currently entitles you to claim a rebate of $96.65
(for a 60 min session) for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
Payment of the full fee is required at the time of the consultation by cash or credit card.
I am able to put your rebate from Medicare straight back into your bank account.
When appointments are booked, I reserve that hour for you, therefore the following cancellation policy is in place.
I require more than 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel a session without occurring any fees. This policy is in place to allow me to offer the allocated time to another client who may be on the waiting list for an appointment.
The full fee will be charged for non-attendance or less than 24 hours notice.
